How Do You Install Grammarly?
Most people use Grammarly as a browser extension. It can be used on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.
To install Grammarly on Chrome
Visit the Chrome store, and download the Grammarly extension on Chrome. Then click add to Chrome. A prompt will pop up asking you if you want to add Grammarly to Chrome. Click on add extension. To install Grammarly on Safari
Visit the Mac App Store, and download the Grammarly app on Safari. Click on get and then install to download the app. Once the app is installed, open the app and create a Grammarly account to start using the app.
To install Grammarly on Firefox
Visit the Firefox add-ons page, and download the Grammarly for Firefox add-on. Click on add to Firefox to download the add-on. A prompt will come asking you if you want to add Grammarly to Firefox. Click add. Activate the extension and start using it.
To install Grammarly on Edge
Visit the Microsoft Edge Add-ons page, and download the Grammarly for Micorsoft Edge add-on. Click get. Then add the extension. Once the add-on is downloaded, you will need to sign up or log in to your account to start using it.
How to Use Grammarly With WordPress
Once you have Grammarly installed on your browser, you can start using Grammarly with WordPress. Grammarly works with the Gutenberg and the classic editor on WordPress. It corrects your grammar and spelling in the post editor. As you type, it will underline any mistakes in red. You can click on the underlined mistake to make changes. It will show you the corrected spelling or wording. To make the correction, just click on the corrected version to accept the change or click on dismiss to ignore the suggestion.
Grammarly works well with the WordPress post editor. However, you might run into issues when using it with a WordPress page builder. Overall, Grammarly is really easy to use with WordPress. Even though you can use it with WordPress, many bloggers prefer to write in Google Docs instead. There are some advantages to writing your content as a Google doc first. Saving a file in Google Docs creates a backup of all of your content. If for some reason you accidentally delete a post or forget to save a post, you will have a backup on your Google drive.
Google Docs are also shareable. You can collaborate, allow someone else to edit your content or make comments on your content. This is great if you want to share your content without giving someone else access to your WordPress dashboard.
